Moon over Rome, is a work from Elena Prokhorova’s collection.

Moon over Rome. Rome the eternal city. It is not only so for the history that has characterized it and made it unique and unrepeatable in over 2000 years of human civilization, but it has always been a source of inspiration for artists, poets, and writers. Many artists, including foreign ones, have dedicated hundreds of works throughout history and Elena too wanted to pay homage to this special place with her style. The domes in the foreground contrast with the well-known dome of St. Peter’s Basilica, the center of Christianity in the West. Everything is wrapped in soft, soft colors, where the reflected light of the moon rests on the roofs of the city.
