Dreaming of a Journey is a work from Elena Prokhorova’s collection

Elena decided, after her experience with the oil color technique, to devote herself to watercolor. The result is having created fairytale scenes. Here we have a timeless city, perched on a hill facing a port, where a sailing ship with its figurehead is moored. A woman wrapped in her raincoat watches the man in the distance and is lost in thoughts of her. The painter tells us: The world I create comes from my fantasies, from the brief perception of something unusual and miraculous that amazes me and which I, therefore, want to share with you.
