Let it Snow!, is a work of Elena Prokhorova’s collection

There are situations that enter our DNA whether we want it or not. Snow for a Russian is like the sun for an Italian! In her work, Elena dedicated this delightful watercolor to him. The calm tones, the girl’s face (a self-portrait?) Serene turned towards the viewer. In the background a couple admiring the whitewashed landscape, while the flakes continue to fall. A very Russian atmosphere of a large metropolis, with immense buildings, under a dark but not threatening sky, in which the lights of the city are reflected. The slightly fairytale air is typical in the works of Elena Prokhorova, who also has illustrations for children’s books among her passions. It is her style, her way of transferring her moods to the visitor, her feelings, and her memories, it is her originality.
