Addio is a work from Elena Prokhorova’s collection.

A sad atmosphere pervades this work, the girl on the deck of a ship, while being whipped by the wind, observes the city she is leaving. Everything suggests that the artist wanted to portray the feeling she experienced at a moment in her life. The city is sadly empty, no one greets it, even if the shades are cool and the seagulls in the sky, still give a sense of tranquility. This streak of sadness remains suspended.
