Walters Angu

The Happy Villagers IV is an artwork belonging to Walters Angu’s collection.

The Happy Villagers, among the typical themes of Angu, often find references to everyday life. His Africa is obviously central to his creations and this is reflected not only in the settings but also in the expressions of the faces of his characters. Her paintings of her are an escape from the reality in which she is living made of wars and violence. Her land is the object of barbarism that has nothing to do with the life of a quiet African village. Here we see how the artist would like to return to those moments. The tranquility of a village despite all its limitations. In the colors, there is the memory of real Africa, not polluted by civilization.
