Walters Angu

Prayer IV is an artwork belonging to Walters Angu’s collection.

Prayer. The beauty and originality of Angu’s works, in addition to the use of the mosaic technique, albeit performed in oil on canvas, also deal with original topics. Often when we talk about aspects related to the sacred, we immediately think of religious works, where the sacred aspect engulfs the artistic aspect, especially in contemporary art. Angu is proof of the contrary. He manages to insert his characters in a light, camouflaged way, without however detracting from the topic addressed.

Walters Angu
