Walters Angu

Mother and Child III is an artwork belonging to Walters Angu’s collection.

Mother and Child. In whatever latitude of the world this image is depicted, it always conveys a sense of sweetness, of love which is the essential element that binds mother and child. Angu with his colors and his mosaics, has dedicated more than one work to this theme, as dear to him as music is. The mother’s body wraps the baby tightly to her chest. The mother’s supple pose is like a shell wrapping around her pearl to protect her.
