Nigredo is the first stage in the alchemical magnum opus, associated with the colour black. It embodies the darkness and confusion that is the inevitable side effect of every beginning before clarity comes through. The darkness that bears within it the seeds of light.
Albedo – 24 May 2020
Albedo is the second stage in the alchemical magnum opus, associated with the colour white. It follows the confusion of the Nigredo stage with purification, creating a union of the primal opposites, yin and yang.
Citrinitas – 26 May 2020
Citrinitas is the third stage in the alchemical magnum opus, associated with the colour yellow. It follows the purification of the albedo stage with the dawn of awakening, an emergence from within the self after the shadow and light stages.
Rubedo – 24 May 2020
Rubedo is the final stage in the alchemical magnum opus, associated with the colour red. Past the balance of dark and light, after the awakening, comes the fully matured stage of gold emerging from the lead, of the philosopher’s stone. It is the colour of blood, of an invigorating and complete life.

Nigredo è il primo stadio del magnum opus alchemico, associato al colore nero. Esso
incarna l’oscurità e la confusione che è l’inevitabile effetto collaterale di ogni inizio prima
la chiarezza passa. L’oscurità che porta in sé i semi della luce.
Albedo – 24 maggio 2020
L’albedo è il secondo stadio del magnum opus alchemico, associato al colore bianco. Esso
segue la confusione dello stadio di Nigredo con la purificazione, creando un’unione degli opposti primari, yin e yang.
Citrinitas – 26 maggio 2020
Citrinitas è il terzo stadio del magnum opus alchemico, associato al colore giallo. Esso
segue la purificazione dello stadio dell’albedo con l’alba del risveglio, un’emergenza dall’interno del sé dopo le fasi dell’ombra e della luce.
Rubedo – 24 maggio 2020
Rubedo è lo stadio finale del magnum opus alchemico, associato al colore rosso. passato il
equilibrio del buio e della luce, dopo il risveglio, arriva lo stadio pienamente maturo dell’oro che emerge dal piombo, della pietra filosofale. È il colore del sangue, di una vita corroborante e completa.
