King Lear, is a work of Fausto Maria Franchi’s collection.
King Lear. The reference to the famous tragedy of William Shakespeare is immediate. The work is dedicated to the King who with his decisions, made for a good purpose, actually triggers a family feud and a series of tragedies.
The artist has devoted his attention to the figure of the king wrapped in a large cloak and to his crown, which hides his face and emotions.
Elegant and at the same time complex execution, but of sure effect.
