Capriccio Italian. The term “Capriccio” in the Italian language in reference to the figurative arts, means “unusual, imaginative, bizarre composition, expedient, way of execution”. Franchi proposes his own series of 10 works, wherewith his playful imagination he elaborates his bizarre figures. He didn’t give a specific title, but he played the role that color can assume by placing it now on one shape, now on another. We can glimpse dragons or people or even the most varied objects. Often it’s just a game of bright colors that attract the eye and activate the brain. There is no randomness, far from it, it is the spirit of graphic evolution. There are those who have gone through the combustion, the cuts, or the extreme geometrization of the figures and those who, like Franchi, play with extravagant colors and shapes, as in his Capricci.

Franchi propone una sua serie di 10 opere, dove con la sua fantasia giocosa elabora le sue bizzarre figure. Non ha dato un titolo specifico, ma ha interpretato il ruolo che può assumere il colore ponendolo ora su una forma, ora su un’altra.
