Tatiana Zhezmer

Tatiana Zhezmer

Venice Traffic is a work from Tatiana Zhezmer’s collection.

Glimpses of Venetian life. Tatiana Zhezmer’s style is unmistakable. Her glimpses of Venetian life are defined on a canvas where it seems that the water has confused the colors, mixing and scattering them everywhere. On them, thin lines in black and white give shape to the essential elements. A gondola with its gondolier, the buildings that mark the canal. Everything takes its place from an attentive eye. It is here that the particularity of this artist plays, knowing how to bring the chaos of colors back to an orderly naturalness. Nothing reveals the modern technique of execution, which is the touch of class that this artist has been able to add to her mastery.
