Hector Acevedo

Hector Acevedo

Mujeres con sandias II is a work from Hector Acevedo’s collection.

Mujeres con sandias II. The painter Héctor Acevedo is attentive to reality and submits it to an inquiring look to extract the necessary materials to build his pictorial universe. Even in the conception of his paintings, this paradox is shown. Although he maintains that his themes, characters, atmospheres, and motives are born from the subconscious, he has confessed on occasion that they are subjected to the gears of reason.
