Foglie. Giancarlo Tognoni, painter and engraver, lives in Tuscany—the critical P. Carlo Santini who follows Tognoni’s artistic way from the seventies on, counts him among the greatest characters of his generation. Some of the best Italian and foreign critics write about him. A lot of his works are to be found in prestigious Museums and Studios of drawing and printing: the Uffizi in Florence, Accademia Albertina in Vienna, Collezione Speciale in Paris, National Gallery in Washington, the Joan Mirò Foundation in Barcellona.
